There is only one review that I know of about that unique (by its price) 3G device.
It comes from Australia, and you'll find it at ZDNet Australia.

Users are mostly happy with the phone (great screen, good sound), but they usually complaint about battery life.
But at that price, it is a great way to be introduced to new 3G technology (I only wished that Etisalat brought its UMTS connection rates down to make that technology as accessible as GPRS).

On the other hand, I met with NEC representative for the Middle East the other day, and he showed me some very exciting handsets (3G and regular GPRS)!

Did you buy anything from UAEMALL before, I never tried and I don't know if Ican trust it. Any recommendations please Roll Eyes

Mixed reviews on the NEC e616.
Pretty good with Phoneyworld.com, avreage+ from ZDNet Australia and not so good at Review Centre (user-only reviews).
Interesting how much difference it could be between a 'professional' reviewer and a day-to-day user!!

I would care alot to read simple user review, because he is more like me, and help a simple person to decide based on the normal user operation of the device.

I agree I like clamshell too, they protect the screen and no need for leather case.
