Welcome to PPCD :-)

The P990i should be available by the end of May or early June. It was originally slated for a April release but the Operating System on which it runs known as UIQ (v 3.0) is being made bug free and developers are being given an opportunity to develop programs.

Its better to wait and get a stable device rather than have an unstable device immediately. I think thats where SonyEricsson has an upperhand over others.

I am quite intrigued by the P990i. I came from a P800 to a P900 and then switched to the WM bandwagon. The P990i would be a good backup device for my jasjar. I'm not sure if i AM going to getting it or not though. I have the Razr as a backup phone here (quad-band).

I am however HIGHLY interested in the Smart-flip. No one can deny that WM is the future and a Razr form factor with a robust WM smartphone OS is just what the Doctor ordered

My son just sold his (my old SE910) for a V3i as it also has Itunes which works well with his MAC

Should be released end of July in Belgium, with the K800i.
Official price is 679,9€ or 3.195 AED incl 21% of VAT. UAE price will be around 2.500 AED I guess.
