Yes - OK - we've known for a while that the Pocket Loox N560 was coming. First we printed the rumoured specs way back in early December 2005 which - apart from one detail - were later shown to be accurate. Then in January 2006 Brighthand published details from the Pocket Loox 2006 roadmap that confirmed the existence of the Loox N560 and several features that it would have. Finally Clove Technology began to offer the N560 for sale as of the end of January. Now, however, we have the first official confirmation from Fujitsu-Siemens that the Loox N560 exists and is coming soon. Firstly - in an article on the Fujitsu-Siemens website devoted to the upcoming CeBIT 2006 exhibition there is this single mention: "The new Pocket LOOX N560 has a powerful integrated GPS solution. It also offers VGA resolution and will be available with special navigation bundles for all market segments." Secondly - for some time a datasheet has been available for the Pocket Loox N series that covered the N500 and N520 only. This datasheet has now been updated to cover the Loox 560 also. From it we get the following details confirmed: Processor: PXA270 624 Mhz Memory: 64 MB RAM/ 128MB ROM GPS: Integrated SiRF Star III Screen: 3.5" VGA Wireless: 802.11 b/g WiFi; Bluetooth 1.2 USB 1.1 host/slave Expansion: SD I/O Battery: 1200 mAh Dimensions: 116 x 71 x 14 mm; c. 160g Docking Station: Included Software Choice Voucher: 5 points rgds Steve Rgds Steve |

Well, not many people know it, but by human nature, even if they threw in a toaster, people wouldn't mind, because its "convergence"
