I got this email from HTC Club Admin. But I could not find the download link in HTC site. If anyone has the link post, please post it.

I never got a notification I've been waiting for this

I got this mail from HTC Club but there is no sight of upgrade.

i've just checked the website as well. no sniff of the upgrade yet !!??

I just checked HTC site and the download is available. Funny thing is the date of the download is 23 May 2008. So the email i got earlier was correct but somehow the site was not update. Strange but true. I'm downloading the 66.2 MB file. Once I upgrade will post my experience. This I'll do during weekend. If someone else do it earlier please post your experience.

Log in to htc.com and you than go to HTC e-Club tab. You have to register first than under My Download and Phone Software Update you will find the 6.1 download.

You know I"m surprised that every time that I try to get to the phone software page, this is what I get:

Is this the one? Because the ROM date is 2-21-08 which is not the latest one!!

It's there I DL no problem there are 3 upgrades the 6.1 is the third listed only WWE is available

I uggraded the ROM and installed only two programs (Resco file explorer & MemMaid. There are some interface changes. Twice the machine hanged for few seconds while I was navigating from programs to settings. What was the reason I don't know but from today i'll load my usual other programs such as photocontact and see the performance.
