I tried to sync my PPC with my PC's outlook calendar, however instead of synching, all of the data in my PC was erased. It seemed that the PPC overrode all data in my PC, like a one way transfer of data. How do I make the two devices synch? Help!

Itwould be great if you can tell about your device type (WM2003 or WM5).. if possible the device itself... and the Active Sync version you use...

In general, when you SYNC for the first time, it would ask for type of sync (PC to PPC or PPC to PC or syncing). You should have made a choice there.

Anyway, you can try to recover the wiped out data from the DELETED ITEMS in the outlook inbox (if they are still there)

SCARY ...i never thought that will happen and also it did not happen in my HTC device though.
Still I will be extra careful when i try to sync any new device...SCARY
