Quite frequently I receive two delivery reports for one sms and upon checking with the person I sent the sms to they always confirm receiving the sms twice, can some one help me with this please?

The disappearing post is a board glitch, I think, coz some of the 'view counts' for the threads that survived went down.

I've not encountered this problem so:
1) It may have something to do with delivery reports - I don't have it enabled.
2) Might be that there's two lots of 'phone' running, and each one is grabbing the SMS and running with it. Easy enough to check with this freebie task manager - PocketNav

PocketNav is well worth having if you don't already have a taskswitcher/manager.

If u have installed the permanent SMS delivery report patch then this problem mite occur. However, this doesnt stand true for all devices. Lets jus say it has a mind of its own.

I must admit Docc reading your comment and watching the baby icon dancing made me to say the least not very happy!

I uninstalled the sms permanent notification but still sms is sent twice in 80% of the cases. I need help pleaseeeeeeeee!

On it's own I think it is kind of cute but coupled with your reply that the phone has a mind of it's own is frustrating!

ok,this is my personal expereinces

if u send a sms, and before you get that little icon of an ENVELOPE if you got o today and leave it and then come back agto Mssg screen later SMS is sent twice

howevver when u send SMS and you wait until that lill ENVELOPE sign come s and goes away then you'll never get this problem...

reason i THNK cos ur sms is stuck in outbook ,etc..some glitch in the system

Oh that way....hehe. I can imagine, i agree with u 100%. But to be honest, with the new RU and BT working as it should and no unidriectional call problems, i am quite happy.
