Hi Guyz,
I have been trying to use my jasjam's wifi with my home's wireless internet connection,I have a siemens speedstream 6520. When I try connecting to my wireless modem,my jasjam shows as connected to my speedstream, and i get a IP address from the modem, But when I try accessing websites, it tries to locate the website for a minute or so, and then gives me a website not found error, and asks me to check the name of the website and try again!! Kindly help me out,and let me know what are the settings I should use on my modem and on my device to make it work. cheers, fassi. |

Did the IP adress look like your pc ie 192.168.1.100 (note last 3 digits can typically be 1-200) check manual 255.255.255.0 etc etc mac address As sometimes if it cant find the correct IP range it finds some strange one yet says it's connected rgds Steve Rgds Steve |

check the IP address of your PC (let it be 111.111.111.111)
You can access it as... \\111.111.111.111\sharedfolder |

Use the network wizard to set up a small office network and change properties of eg my documents to a shared folder. Then use file manager on your pda to map network drive /my documents rgds Steve Rgds Steve |
