I got off the phone with a Carrier Device’s representative and she confirmed to me a new version of their popular smart phone will be released this year in Gitex 2004. I guess they are planning to release the smallest Smartphone in the market. I am guessing this one in the image, maybe finally my wife can get one of those! With many new devices to be released it is going to be awesome this year!

www.Expansys.co.uk has it listed for preorder and states it will be available in September..

Actually they didn't want to reveal more info when I asked them about Gitex release for the PPC, if you have more info let me know.

Nope BOTH the XDA III & the Smartphone III

Expansys are usually reliable...they get it for Dist in the EU market from carrier devices...so what they are saying about Gitex is probably for the local market...

I am in the industry (GSM) myself and have been told to expect the products in September. So the start of OCTOBER i.e. Gitex is still September time frame....asme goes for the H63xx...its all to do with the Christian XMAS sales push...most important shopping period in the year for "Adult" toys... ;-)

P.S. thats also why Apple/PalmOne is bring all there new stuff in Sept....

I am waiting for XDA III or imate III very badly but someone told me today it will be released next year but I don't believe it
