"The net is flush with rumors that Nokia is in talks with Palm Inc. to purchase the Treo driven company. According to PC World, Motorola might also play the acquisition card, although Nokia appears to be the frontrunner. At this point it seems to be ‘rumorville’ so hang tight as I’m sure official details will emerge. As PC World points out, Palm is still flush with success from the release of its consumer level Treo680." Source.

What if that really happened! Imagine the Palm Treo comes dressed with Symbian O/S?! Puke

"The fact that this news has persisted since last month might lend some credibility, though whether it will be Nokia at the head of the line remains to be seen."
