"One of the emerging trends with Windows Mobile 5.0 devices is the inclusion of built-in GPS. Enter the G500, E-TEN’s latest Pocket PC Phone offering. Being my second convergence device (the previous being the M500), I was curious to see if E-TEN was able to continue with their excellent track record. Did the G500 live up to my hopes and expectations? To find out you’ll have to join me on a review that every parent … er, Pocket PC owner should read." Read full review here.
Another review for the excellent ETEN G500, we are planning to publish our own review soon |

I did find an intresting artical on built in GPS PDA's mainly relating to the latest fastfix GPS which seems able to get a signal even in your kitchen so the artical stated. Apparently only one of the newer PDA's was so enabled. But I can't find the review now rgds Steve Rgds Steve |

When i had both the PDA-N and the G500 with me, i noticed that the PDA-N had a quicker fix in comparison to the latter. I also noticed that my BT GPS had the quickest fix amongst all of them.
Here in Miami, my BT GPS picks up satellite even indoors!!! But, then again everything in the US is pretty much made of wood so that could be the only logical explaination i can think of! Docc. |

Found the review here Source GPSPassion.com: The Mio A701 is the first PDAPhone with an AGPS enabled SiRFstarIII module and is only the third GPS PDAPhone to become available after the HP hw6515 released in Europe in August 2005 and in January 2006 in the US and the Eten G500/TORQ N100 released in March 2006. rgds Steve Rgds Steve |
