"When Microsoft introduced the Xda Atom Exec at today's press preview for its CommunicAsia launch, the announcement came as somewhat of a surprise to many journalists. After all, O2 has been keeping quite a low profile over the past year, releasing only the Atom last year followed by the introduction of a white edition in April. Editors' note:
O2 has just released the pricing and availability information for the Atom Exec. It is expected to be available in July at an estimated retail price of S$1,348 (US$844.66). According to Microsoft, the Atom Exec is expected to be launched in Asia soon and will run on the Windows Mobile 5.0 OS, updated with the new Messaging and Security Feature Pack. The software upgrade will offer users the convenience of push email capabilities and other minor enhancements.
