Treo 600 tops the chart as 'Top Phone Adding Mobile Content'|

Handango, the leading mobile downloads provider, today released the November 2004 edition of the Handango Yardstick, a monthly report on the state of the mobile downloads economy.
For the first time in over a year and a half, a new handset has taken the lead as the number one phone adding mobile content. The palmOne Treo 600 topped the list for the first time in its history, indicating a big appetite for applications from customers of the red-hot device. The average selling price of applications jumped heartily from US$17.57 to US$18.41, a record high for the past two years. Customer searches remained relatively consistent with "MP3/Music," "GPS" and "Games" totaling approximately 12% of the top searches. "Ringtones" and "Internet" rounded out the top five accounting for more than 6% of the searches.
