Finally my long awaited “killer concept” “PPC Mercedes-Benz” has arrived. If you are curious to know I got it through a special order form Gadgets World. I was informed that it will be available only though them, send them an email if you have an inquiry. For now I will put this Beast to sleep. I will post my observations and comments on the MPx soon!

I am slowly exploring this device as I am still going through the “WAW” phase and my blood is boiling to start using this amazing machine.

The following pictures shows the MPx with the items in the box, there are some more pictures comparing MPx to i-Mate PDA2K to SP3i Smartphone. I will leave the pictures to speak for them selves.

Thanx for sharin the wealth . I have read on a few forums that the MPx does not support Stereo MP3 output....Please tell me thats not true. For some reason, i have difficulty believing that a $1000 device does not do what a $100 Mp3 player does.

Secondly, i have heard a little scary things about the battery. I know its too early for u to mention this, but keep us updated so that we have a rough idea.

MPx is charging and during the initial setup I didn’t notice any slowdowns, the device recognized and connected to Etisalat network on the fly. Some Motorola application installation automatically started as well which is the same when you hard-reset i-mate PDA2K, but it was done much faster and didn’t require an auto soft-reset.

I tried to make a call and I would like to say this openly: “The MPx feels and acts more like a phone than a Pocket PC”

Still too early to judge. But I am very impressed with the build and quality of this device.

As i understand, MPx has only been released in Asia. The rest of the world will not be seeing the MPx officially. Why the disparity? Is it bcos Moto's R & D is in Asia? Dont get it.
