Just came back Big Grin. I should admit i'm a lil unlucky when i reeealy want something lol.

I checked radioshack, online llc, axiom, cellucom, salam studio, grand stores all HAD jabra headsets .. but not the stereo bluetooth ones lol. 350 is the current price if anyones interested.

Anyhu, i checked the HBH-DS970 as u mentioned steve, but the controls dont work on my phone. For example the forward and back buttons for the music player dont work, the top button that says play/pause dont work, tho i can increase and decrease the volume. The CallerID works weird, i told the cellucom guys to call me up and the landline number shows up, but if any contact calls me the name doesnt show up the number does, so thats a little inconvenient. When i call someone the name nor the number shows up on the display so thats a buster. But as said the sound quality was awesome ! no doubt.

Coming to the main point lol, i got a BT stereo headset, a nokia BH-501.

Cnet review:

Nokia's Site:

The cellucom guys let me try both but after i decided to go with nokia, they didnt have another boxed set, cause the one i was testing has sound issues with the volume up and down sequence. But i liked the sound quality over all so lets see how it serves me for the coming days.

Thanks again for your help steve, i really do appreciate it.

Regards.

woohoo

Well done and well done the guys at cellucomm they always seem willing to help IMO

I forgive you for getting a "N" thingie grinning

Told ya to try before you buy although on the HBH-DS970 there is another selection swicth for group paring which may of soloved the problem, no mater your Very Happy

On the caller ID I dont know if big E is upto something since having to have 050 but a lot of phones seem to be playing up even if you have 00971 or +971 infront of 050 something is strange of late

BTW you did not bother with Virgin they have the biggest selection of Jabra

Ahh sorry not to mention virgin, but i had gone there, and to tell the truth, after visiting all the stores i kinda got the feeling of rudeness at virgin.

Its like u go there and u ask for a specific headset model, fine if u dont have it .. they try to show u other models of stereo headset and expect you to buy it even when its not compatible. The BT headsets i am talking about are the jacked ones where u plug the dongle into the headphone system and then the headset receives signals from it.

They didnt have the Jabra headset i was looking for and they did not bother helping me out by telling me if it would come anytime sooner, so just left out with a red face :P but the cellucom guys just took all that frustration away by actually opening up the sony headset and the nokia headset boxes and charging them up and letting me use them.

Cheers to them .. I'll post up a few pics once i am done playing and researching with my new toy :P
