Hello:
I have a 6515 and I know that it supports GPRS and EDGE. I also read in this week's PC Mag (Middle East) that Etisalat support GPRS, EDGE and 3G. The article further explains that GPRS gives you data rates up 50 Kbps, EDGE upto 100 Kbps and 3G goes up to 385 Kbps. I would like to know how do I configure my iPAQ for EDGE? I already have GPRS working with the mNet-Wasel connection. -Rashid |

I don't think Etisalat supports EDGE and will not up to my knowledge. EDGE is becoming an obsolete technology and that's why in my opinion why Etisalat will not invest in. Other pocket PC Dubai team members have better info than me.
However, what I guess and hope that Etisalat will ROCK the whole region and be the first to support HSDPA; which is 3.5G and have speeds that will start with 400-700kbps and could go up to 3.6mbps and will go even up to 5.8mbps(HSUPA) . But the one million dollar question is when? |

No EDGE with Etisalat. Etisalat is still trying to push Mubashir down people's throats
HSPDA will be supported by Etisalat in the next 2 years. Docc. |
