I gotta tell you honestly, HP are targeting East Asian markets for obvious reasons! And i-mate pocket pc phone is one of those reasons. Definitely people in Malaysia are not very keen on PDA Phone devices. And as I presume that iPAQ h6315 will never be released in the Middle East especially i-mate price was dropped to $679 in Dubai! How would you compete with that hence in East Asia you still get the same device for approx. $800.

Anyway cheers to those guys I am sure they had a ball! Wink

Take one more look at the following picture:

You can see sheer HP quality hardware compared to XDA II (i-mate)

BTW: I hope nobody start getting cranky with me or complain about posting this picture here!

What si wrong with you!!! Clearly I am comparing hardware design!

And fyi, the processor reduces power consumption by as much as 50 percent, lowering battery drain.

"The milestone we have achieved with the OMAP 1710 processor reinforces our strategy to leverage TI's advanced process technology to provide high-performance, low-power, highly-integrated products for mobile devices."

I'm sure every one of you has certain requirements for your ideal device. I don't think you should argue about which one is better without discussing the "features" of each device. Also keep in mind that self preferences and personal requirements could make it more appealing to buy it at a certain price point.

Now can we get back to our topic!

For all of us guys, what would be an ideal devicefor you and for how much are you willing to pocket out? For some they would say a faster CPU, others would prepare a very power efficient device. But what do you want on a device and at what price

I like the iPaq 6315 it is what I want in a pocket pc for my budget…

It has all the wireless features especially wifi which I use regularly…

Battery life is really essential for me since I am always on the go!

I admire HP for putting a lot of though in the hardware design, it looks very professional in my opinion.

For me my ideal device would:

--- maximum horsepower and I'm talking about highest CPU speed in the market, I'm a speed demon Twisted Evil
--- memory! memory! memory! 64 MB is part of old history I don't Think So
--- excellent screen quality Way to go
--- slim and elegant deign, psst! XDA III, and did I mention no antenna! I don't Think So
--- built-in camera, bt, wifi, GPRS
--- keyboard XDA III style Wink
--- windows mobile 2003 SE
--- price is no problem Big Grin

If could compare the price for ipaq h6315 (a pocket pc phone) to a smarphone in terms of price I guess ipaq wins with flying colors! I say if ipaq is released with a price bracket between 2000 to 2200 dirhams then I consider it a bargain

happy now Grumble

What you say now is a little contradicting with your previous statements!

So at this price point, do you recommend it?
