There is an effort to gather signatures on a petition to Hewlett Packard requesting that they continue support of the Compaq Wireless Pack for GSM/GPRS Networks under WM2003 and the 3000/5000 Ipaq platforms.

The effort is a long shot, but at the moment, we have nothing to lose, since HP apparently has dropped support of the wireless pack after only 2 years.

I personally support this petition and I believe there must be a support for this over-priced accessory. If you feel that HP left you in the cold I would urge you all to sign this petition and make your voice heard.

"We, members of the worldwide PocketPC community would like to inform you of our dissatisfaction with Hewlett-Packard’s support of the product line known as Compaq/HP Wireless Pack for GSM/GPRS Networks and respectfully request that Hewlett-Packard continue with the software and hardware support of this device under operating systems such as Pocket PC 2002, Pocket PC 2003 (Windows Mobile 2003), and future releases, as well as interoperability with the 3000 and 5000 series iPAQ’s."

Although I don't use it, I really feel sad for those who invested in this expensive Wireless Pack and have no support for it any more!
