i will be cumin down to dubai in feb during the dsf and wanted to buy one of these 2 devices. Cud someone tell me as to how much these cost and where exactly in dubai wud i be able to buy them. Also does anyone know wot are the differences between these 2 devices?

h5555 and h5550 are the same products HP they give different modle number in order to trace their sales, the h5555 is for business customers. Now it could be around AED 2400, You will find it easily in Dubai

Why don't you go for the new HP h4150 which is only $449

I was also thinking abt buying the XDA 2 but do u guys think that the Ipaq 5550 is better than the XDA 2 in terms of being a PDA? I am not too interested in the Phone part of the device as i already own a P900 n that serves me fine.

Also PPCgeek cud u give me specs of the 4150 and how it compares to the 5550 and which is the best PDA on the market today according to u guys?

Also Mohd, if possible cud u tell me which is the best place in dubai to buy the 5550? At AED 2400 i think its quite reasonable....oh and one last question....does it have 128MB RAM or 64MB RAM?

IPAQ h5550/5555 comes with 128MB RAM including 18MB user accessible storage on ROM. You will find it cheaper in Computer Plaza (Al-Ain) Center; you roam around checking Computer Care, ESEN Trading and Lucky Star for prices and availability. Overall Pocket PCs are becoming cheaper in Dubai, presumably not because of DSF but mainly o kill Palm devices.

As i have mentioned in my other thread that i need 128MB then i guess it has to be the Ipaq 5550 unless u have some better suggestions hehe.
