Exciting times in the Pocket PC phone world. Is the MPX compact size the ideal solution, or the proven iMate performance the way to go with the new XDA III or is the long planned iPAQ h6315 the killer product the way to go?

For those wanting the Arabizer, is the iMate the only real choice due to memory size?

I think the best choice is to go for the imate 3 or xda 3. Arabic support is not an issue really you can get it always an install it on any device. Wink

Actually I am excited with every one of them. And waiting to test drive iPAQ h6300 and Motorola MPX300. I can't wait! Bounce

Every device offers something for a particular targeted group of customers. I just think that iPAQ h6300 will go head-to-head to compete with Treo 600. Probably the US is the best market for the new iPAQ.

I agree with your view, but dont forget that the T600 is being replaced this fall and will have 320x320 screen and BT !...

The cool feture of the MPX is that it runs alls it programms from FLASH and stores the apps and data on FLASH aswell which means that when power is lost you will be backup and running without a reinstall Smile cool , also both the MPX and H6 are going in the right direction for a "MOBILE" device i.e. looooooooong time on battery.....no use in your device running at 625MHZ when you a browsing a document or when you are writing an SMS...as that is just throwing away battery times..and both cpus are optimized for MM applications like showing ripped DVD's or movies..

Both these devices are probably the first real implimentation of a "Designed" device and not just a "Quick Shot"...its interesting to see how much push in this direction was given by M$..guess they woke up and smelled the coffie..that its no use haveing the latest and greatest if you can only use it without a charger for 2 hours at a time Smile

Personally I feel that the H6 will be the more pocketable "Buisness friendly" device...but I will probably end up with both...and use the MPX @ home and on the weekends... Roll Eyes

hi
i agree with ALI s that so far xda III is the best coz as of yet no negatives have come out..
with the mpx and h63xx we really dont know how well they fare with more complicated games as they havent been really tested in the real world..a little more time is required to see if the device is SLOW in day to day use (again that depends upon what you use it for) me i use it to play music vids and videos and games alot..so i for one will keep an eye on how SLOW the processor is when it comes to games ..
also apps like cpuxscalar can downspeed your processror speed at defined load / automatically so you dont end up browsing a text document at 400 mhz and also save battery time.. plus if batt time is really a problem then if you cna afford to buy an imate im sure you can chip out a little more and get an accessory battery aswell...
its differnet with different ppl...for me speed and batt are tops... (taken that wifi/BT are already present in the device)
thanks

this is not double posting...
if youve seen the new FSC loox 720 that totally rules..add a CF gprs/gsm card that supports BT profile and i think that would be hte best device
