Well, sorry about the strange title. I don't know whether this goes under PDA's/Smartphones or an Off-topic, i guess both. Anyway..

I have never experienced Emailing on my phone. Now i want to use this feature, but my service provider (Vodafone Egypt) supports it through SMS. E.g. To send an email to "some_dude@pizzahut.org", you type this as an SMS:

{some_dude@pizzahut.org Hi how are you finished eating?}
and then send it to a specific no. like 6525

Of course this is very annoying. Now i wanna ask how does the normal emailing work? Thru internet or GPRS or..?

Sorry i'm new to this stuff so bear my stupidity a bit..

And by the way, what is the average price for sending an email, does it have the same price as that for SMS?
