Hi all
I had a major problem, i woke up one morning, tried to open a program (the icon was blanc) and it didn't i checked the SD card i only saw 3 files :|
But when i checked the memory option in the settings i saw that it was in fact using 700 Mb.
I checked if the files were hidden or something didn't find any !
I am trying so recovery tool any good one?
Any one had such problem and how did he solve it ? Thx in advance

Btw i have an imate jam and a 1 GB SAndisk SD txs

Firstly, try a simple soft-rest and see if that helps.Otherwise, do as i have mentioned below.

Insert the memory card into a memory reader. A new drive will now appear on your computer. Right click on it and in properties click on tools. You will get two options there, one is "disk check" and the other is "defragmenting". Click on disk check and see what errors are shown.

There are plenty of utilities available online to recover damaged or lost data from memory cards. Google for them, you will get loads of options. Try any of them.

Worst case scenario, restore your old backup. Thats all i can think of. Sorry, i couldnt be of more help.

Thanks for you help Docc, but it worked out with me yesterday
That's what i have done
1 - Downloaded Card Export (it make the PPC show as an external drive without the need of passing by active sync)
2 - Used a data recovery tool that can recover from SD (Recover my file ©)


All my files were back !
