I am planning to visit dubai next month (1 Week) and wanted to know what data option i have in dubai and the cost involved. I basically need a temporary GSM connection which has some kind of data connection. It really doesnt matter if it is 2G or 3G. I didn't know from where to get advice on this, so thought why not ask people who are staying in dubai, and using it. I am using TyTnII.

You will find both Etisalat an Du have visitor accounts but usually its easier to pick up a full pay as you go sim for around 165Dr and have a 3G etc, they are sold at most places and just need a passport copy, top up cards are widley available.
