When I was in Paris I tracked down a set of Moto's HB820 as I thought some of the call functions would of been better although the headstrap would be more comfotable. Alais after paying for them and waiting 30mins for the shop to find them in the stock room turned out to be out of stock. Another 20mins to get a refund. I went to Dubai last weekend GW did not have them in stock and 20 laps of the big Mall of the Emirates and a few other shops I gave up. However a new little Samsung shop in AD Marina mall (sim in mall of emirates)had the SBH100 in. I wasn't sure but they impressed me with the volume as I had read many suffered with this. Also they packed away a lot smaller in your bag than the Moto's. I tried the paring and distance in the Mall with my V3X as the JJ won't support stereo BT yet and easily worked 6 to 8m before drop off. The mike is not as good as a dedicated BT headset but works well enough. Bass is very good and defenning if you push it on to your ears. Ring tone from the phone is transmitted and cuts off the music on call, last dial and voice calling all worked well. Battery life is not an all day job actually the limitation in my V3X only a few hours the JJ may fair better. I dont think it's so much the transmition more playing the tunes on the phone. I've had one problem in it's seems some times you need to re-bond else the volume control won't work on the headset it just plays at a medium volume. If you intend to just wear one ear piece when driving then the Samsung is probably more comfatable. I was not so sure for jogging though unless it just takes getting use too. rgds Steve Rgds Steve |
