Better to start off with easy ones. Just run 'align screen' again and see if it helps.

You should have added any screen protector from day 1 until you find what you are looking for. Now you are saying that the screen is becoming less sensetive even without the screen protector, what's going to happen when you add one?
As Asrar said, try to do that, if it doesn't work and you feel that it is still not as good as day 1, then enter the battel with the service and repair people. Try to let them compair the feeling of using two PDAs at the same time. One new and the other is yours.

Good luck, I know the feeling truly sucks Evil

Gee, thanks Saad, I thought screen protector was only to protect from scratches. I really didn't know it had a bearing also on the gradual reduction of its sensitivity if tapped and touched unguarded over extended periods. I will immediately put mine back on. I removed it because I thought the stylus taps and finger smudge marks looked ugly on the screen protector. Thanks again Saad, better late than never.

Must have hardware accessory - Screen Protector.
