Can you explin diff between Xbackup & permanenet Save?please?
But .. but .. what about the difference between xbackup & permanent save?
Both are facilities built in the PDA2k. The Permanent Save is actually for the PIM functions like contacts, appointments and tasks and connection settings and saves them to non-volatile memory so that you do not lose it on power loss or full reset. You simply restore it through the same program in much the same way you back up. All new appointments, tasks and contacts will automatically be backed up to non-volatile memory whereas the connection settings need to be manually backed up each time you change it for some reason.
The Xbackup is a standard backup utility like anything else that you use for your desktop PC to backup to a folder, removable media or USB storage, etc. You can back up anything, files (Excel, word), program files, and yes, even the contacts, calendar, internet and message setting; but in this case you are backing up to the SD/MMC card.
So, Permanent save is for PIM and Connection Setting from RAM to FlashROM and XBackup is for any file from RAM to Storage Card.
