i will be overseas at the same time the new i-phone is released on 11 july and have pre-registered for the new 8gb or 16gb although it is very much based on availability. I am getting posted shortly after where there is no use for 3g.

how sure are you to secure a phone ?

i have had to put down a deposit of 1000 AED which has given me the option of buying up to 3 i-phones when launched on 11 july.

thats as much as a guarantee , still subject to availability etc
