The replacement E500 suddenly did not have sound. So no notifications (calls) no sound if I tried to call - just dead silence. What a piece of junk. Two E500's in 2 months and both were just terrible. I don't intend to battle Everex for the money I wasted. The smart thing for them would have been to give my money back when the 1st device was defective. Instead they just replaced it with what has turned out to also be a defective device.

I threw the little piece of junk in a drawer. Then I went out and bought an i-mate. From te begginning you can tell the i-mate is a much more solid device.

DO NOT WASTE MONEY ON THE E500!!!!

The sad thing is Everex might have other decent products. But I will never buy ANYTHING with that name on it.

I have the same problem is seems it is common I am trying to resolving the problem by replacing the Speaker since we don’t have maintenance shop in Saudi I am doing my own maintaining and I will give the result ,but if any one have upgrade ROM please help me to find it.
