Hi all,
I've managed to drop and crack my Everex E900 screen! what're my options for getting it repaired? I bought it in Dubai, on 29/5/05 so it has a UAE 1 year Waranty. But I live in Mumbai, India. I just might beable to send it over to Dubai for service with a friend.
Any experiences, thoughts, support most welcome.
Got to go back to my Palm till this is resolved!
Any input greatly appreciated.

Hi my969,

Your best option would be to send it over to Dubai to get it repaired. Even though it is under warranty, you will have to incur the cost of getting the screen replaced. For the PDA2k it roughly costs about AED 570. For the Everex, i suppose it should be in the AED400 price range. Turn around time should be usually about 3-4 days but that again was for a established brand like Imate. The Everex is relatively new and are yet to grab some action from the Market and they will with a good device like the E900.

You should contact the distributor directly and get the information regarding this from them before actually sending in your unit.

Thank you Docc, Mohd.
tried registering on the everexclub site with my unit serial no. which is the number on the back of my unit under the battery, but no joy. Don't know if the site is down, or am I doing something wrong?

yes, will be sending them an email.

Hi again my969,

As i had mentioned earlier, the site is still non-functional. Within a few days time it will be up and running. They are working on it even as we speak.

We will keep you updated as and when it is operational which imo isnt too far away.
