He every one!

I have the Everex-E900. My problem is the following:-
On starting the ppc the screen says:-
USB downloader B05 0012
Flash Capacity = 128MB
USB downloader ready
No Card in
USB host is not connected

On connecting USB cable to comuter
it says
"USB host is connected
Waiting a download."

On the computer the Activesync wizard is unable to connect to the PPC

What should i do next?

Was it like that when you opened it from the box? Did you have the chance to see the operating system even for one time?

Hi again!

No it was operating fine for some time. One day i dropped it accidentaly. From then on whenever i press the power button a test screen appears. On doing a hard reset the screen mentioned in my previous post appears.

I live in Indai, Mumbai. It was gifted to me by somebody who I think bought it from Dubai.

So sorry about that accident. I hope you/your friend still have the original reciept of purchase. Moreover hope it is still within the 1 year period. My recommendation is to check out from E-ten's web site, where are their repair centers. If they have one, in india (please update your location profile) then you are lucky, I hope they have one in UAE. Send it to the closest service center. and wish you the best of luck. (If I was you, I wouldn't mention the drop thing to them )

I have an eten m500 and i live in mumbai.fortunately capitelwireless in delhi are now authorised resllers of eten product and also provide service.
however they donot support everex.
u have 3 options.
1) try reloading the rom
2) try the repair shops in heera panna. If u want I am aware of a guy who repairs pocket pcs,but this would void the guarantee and there is no guarantee that he may be able repair it.

3) your best bet is to sent it to dubai to get it fixed under warranty.
