I seem to recall discussing this a year or so back Here There is a utilty for formatting your cards to suit your storage/usage. This will affect the cluster size etc and so card capacity. I think it may be in pocket mechanic rgds Steve Rgds Steve |

update, sent the card back and got a refund. bought a 4gb sandisk card. that one came formatted at 3.93gb which is ok. but... fat format can only be up 2gb due to data length so 4gb+ cards must be fat32. my eten m500 will read the card but as soon as i write is corrupts the file system. i assume that it can only read fat so 2gb is maximum. anyone know if firmware/rom upgrade will help?
(stevej, hope you enjoyed your curry) |

What about making it 2 partions of 2G ?? this may solve it. You may need to use Pocket Mechanic or even your laptop/desktop via a card reader to do this Curry was brill thanks, hope you enjoyed your visit Rgds Steve |
